ORIGAMI PEACE CRANES FOR CONFERENCE

The Justice and Advocacy Committee of the West Virginia Conference adopted Neal Lacey’s idea of stringing origami peace cranes in the chapel at West Virginia Wesleyan during our annual conference in June.

CITY OF BECKLEY WARMING CENTER SEASONAL CLOSING

The Warming Center for the City of Beckley opened its doors in mid-December and closed for

the season on March 30th. It’s always hard to believe at the end of the season how many nights

the Warming Center has been open.

DEMENTIA CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUP MABSCOTT UMC

Mabscott UMC will now be hosting a support group for caregivers of dementia patients. This new group will be meeting the 3rd Tuesday of the month, beginning April 16, from 5:30-6:30. All are welcome.
