HOPE IN THE MOUNTAINS PRESENTS DAY SPRING CAMP

This year, Hope in the Mountains will be hosting the DaySpring Camp at the Hope Center without staff from Spring Heights. We will be using the curriculum and schedule from Spring Heights as a guide to develop our own camp. We hope to take the camp on the road to at least one other location this summer.  Read more about the plans for DaySpring in the Newsletter.

DONATIONS FOR NEW VISION DEPOT

As part of the Raleigh Shared Ministries Mission and Outreach program, we are collecting monetary donations for New Vision Depot to be used to purchase items that are needed to assemble UMCOR cleaning kits (formerly known as flood buckets).  See photos of our members packing "flood buckets" in the Newsletter.

IT'S PILL BOTTLE COLLECTION TIME!!

Beckley Community will again be collecting Pill Bottles during April, May, and June to be sent to the Matthew 25 Ministries. Matthew 25 Ministries accepts donations of empty plastic pill bottles for inclusion in shipments of medical supplies. Their pill bottle program fulfills the dual needs of improving medical care in developing countries and caring for our environment. Matthew 25 Ministries will make sure these bottles are delivered where needed.  Read more about this ministry effort in the April 2025 Newsletter.
