HOPE IN THE MOUNTAINS

On February 5 & 6, The Hope in the Mountains Board had a visioning and planning retreat at UM Temple. The retreat was led by Mike Linger, Executive Director of House of the Carpenter in Wheeling. We decided to continue to offer programs that were established in the past. In addition, the Board will be focused on two new

WARMING CENTER UPDATE

What a season this has been for the Warming Center! Since the day we opened, December 1, 2024, through the end of February, we have been open 30 days! The number of guests combined for those 30 days was 1181, for a nightly average of

39.37. There is no way we could have kept the Warming Center open during this period without the dedicated work of our volunteers…  See the newsletter for more details.
